S. Gats is a hip hop recording artist from Montreal, Canada. He is signed to record label Mastered Trax and distributed by EMPIRE.

 

Gats was drawn to music at a young age, and by the age of fourteen was composing instrumentals and beats for local artists in the Montreal hip hop scene.

 

Fueled by his life and struggles, he later began composing and writing lyrics for his own songs. After refusing a record deal with a major label in 2011 due to contractual issues, Gats would remain independent until 2014 when he connected and eventually signed with Mastered Trax.

 

In 2016 he would go on to share the Tidal stage at the Jay Z curated "Made in America" festival alongside label-mate and Mexican rap star C-Kan to bring an energetic performance of their song "Anger Management" to the people of Philadelphia.

 

S. Gats is currently wrapping up the production of his first official debut album called "The Network" set to release later in 2019.
